NO MORE WEEK 2021 WAS MARCH 7 – 13!

NO MORE’s eighth annual NO MORE Week was March 7-13, 2021.

What is No More?

No More is a unifying symbol and movement to raise public awareness and to engage bystanders around ending Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.

Silence and a lack of knowledge play a large part in why they persist so we HAVE to start talking openly about these issues to help remove the shame and stigma they carry.

Our goal is to inspire everyone to make a change to help create a culture of safety, equality, and respect in our communities.

Everybody – everywhere – needs to help prevent Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault!

Here’s what you can do:

Believe: Trust that prevention is part of the solution – do not lose faith. Promote the work and the value of investing in educating children and adults.   Encourage people in schools, places of worship, sports institutions, and clubs to learn and talk about domestic and sexual violence or our work will never end;

Learn: Understand that no one country or community holds the key to ending Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault. We have to work together to find a solution.

Support: Help each other and share resources. Collaborative initiatives work much better than trying to do everything ourselves.

Connect: Look outside your community, even if you are working in a local program. The world is bigger than what’s immediately around you – connect with networks and share experiences.

The pictures included in this blog are just a few that were filled out among the communities we serve and Survivors in our 10 county area.
