Jamie Drahota, Bright Horizons Advocate/Bookkeeper from the Norfolk office mentored girls for the Philanthropy Youth Project; Bags of Hope. The youth project is sponsored by the Philanthropy Council of Northeast Nebraska, which is a group of nonprofit organizations that work together to create a culture of giving in northeast Nebraska. Kailyn Storovich, Paige Pena, Kayla Petty, and Paige Thompson came up with the idea for the Bags of Hope. The girls decorated and filled the bags with: crayons, markers, coloring books, card games, snacks and personal hygiene items. After the girls made the bags they took the bags to the Norfolk Rescue Mission to be given to the children there.
