Emotions are reactions to external and internal events that happen in a person’s life, while Feelings are the reactions that have meaning behind it.  Emotions are intense and created to jump start a reaction to a situation. Feelings generally have more analysis put into the reasoning but are not as intense. Emotions can be difficult to control while feelings can be controlled over time and through effective methods.

In discussing emotions and feelings we have realized that each person has their own way of dealing with their own emotions and feelings, however we are all alike in that we all go through times when one affects us more than the other. When handling our emotions and feelings it is important to find a mindful way of doing so such as breathing exercises, calming music, meditation, something that will help your mind relax and bring you back finding the means of handling what has happened.
