Bright Horizons recently had a table at the Saint John’s Lutheran Church’s Bounce Back to School Carnival from 5 to 7 on August 7th at St. John’s parking lot. This was the first year for the event. Ashley worked the table this year and handed out Bully Free gear; pencils, draw string bags, pens, notepads, chap stick and candy while promoting a “Bully Free Zone” with the kids who stopped by. Community members were welcome to come and get a hotdog, drink, and bag of chips, jump in the bounce house, play games, and visit the different agencies’ tables to help kids get ready to go back to school and have fun doing it. The weather was spectacular and this helped us have a great turn out. I had a wonderful time and am looking forward to doing it again next year!
