On July 13th, we honored Jennifer Sorrells with the 3rd annual domestic violence memorial walk. It was an evening full of fellowship and awareness. Karen Avery, a survivor of domestic violence and sexual assault, spoke about her experience of being a survivor of abuse. Linda Olson also spoke on behalf of Bright Horizons and the services we offer. The Sorrells family presented a wreath to the mother of the late Oriana Arcos who lost her life due to domestic violence. Oriana’s family was there in her memory. It was another successful year of raising awareness to domestic violence and sexual assault.
